It's never too late to learn how to swim! Adult and teen swimming lessons with the Y will help you learn the basics, improve your technique and develop vital survival skills.

Our swimming lessons for adults and teens teach important water safety skills, not just for the pool but for rivers, lakes and the ocean.

Whether you're a complete beginner, want to become more confident in the water or are looking to improve your swimming technique – we can help you achieve your goals.

In the adult and teen swimming program, you have the opportunity to:

  • learn foundational skills in swimming such as floating, treading water and basic strokes;
  • develop and refine previously learnt swimming strokes;
  • work towards a particular goal for an event or assessment;
  • achieve personal goals for your own swimming needs.
