Hot weather policy
The outdoor pool will remain open to 8pm on any Friday, Saturday or Sunday or to 6pm on a public holiday (excluding Christmas Day and Good Friday when the facility is closed) when the temperature is forecast 35 degrees or above at 5pm the day before on Elders Weather (this is subject to the number of patrons and managements discretion).
Cold weather closure
The planning trigger for considering closing outdoor pools for the next day is when the Elders Weater website afternoon weather forecast has been issued and has forecasted a maximum 24 degrees or lower. This forecast will be monitored early each day to determine if there has been significant change forecast on the day.
- If a significant change is forecast, for 24 degrees or lower by 6pm the day before then the facility will be closed after 8am Monday to Friday.
- At opening on the day forecast to be 25 degrees or higher with a late change, the facility may be closed early at the Managers discretion.
